Now in Multiple Languages: Auto-Dubbing of Dr. Bikman’s Videos

Dr. Bikman’s insights can serve a truly global audience

We’re excited to announce that our YouTube channel is now part of a select group of creators with access to YouTube’s new auto-dubbing technology—making Ben’s educational science content available to more people than ever before.

Breaking Language Barriers

YouTube has begun rolling out a powerful new tool that automatically translates and dubs videos into other languages. This allows viewers around the world to hear content in their own language rather than just reading subtitles. For people who prefer learning through spoken word—or who may not be able to read subtitles easily—this is a game-changer.

And yes, we now have it.

What Is Auto-Dubbing?

Auto-dubbing uses advanced AI to translate and synthesize new audio tracks in different languages, matched to the speaker’s voice and tone as closely as possible. This isn't just machine translation—YouTube has designed this feature to deliver natural, human-sounding results.

Right now, the feature supports English-to-German, French, Japanese, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian (with more to come). You’ll see the option to switch audio tracks directly in the YouTube video settings, as shown in the screenshot below:

(Please note: YouTube is not automatically applying this auto-dubbing feature to all of Dr. Bikman’s older videos. It is only being applied to new videos going forward. The very first video to receive auto-dubbing was just released this week—“Fast vs. Slow Insulin Resistance.” If you don’t see the option for alternate audio tracks on earlier videos, that’s why.)

Why This Matters for Global Health Education

Dr. Bikman’s research and lectures on insulin resistance, metabolic health, and human physiology have already impacted lives across the globe. Now, with this new auto-dubbing feature, we can reach even more people—in their native languages—with a clear and consistent message grounded in science.

Whether it’s someone in Germany trying to reverse type 2 diabetes, a medical student in France studying metabolism, or a nutrition coach in Italy wanting to better understand insulin, this feature opens new doors.

A Select Group of Creators—And We’re One of Them

YouTube has only made this feature available to a relatively small group of channels—particularly those creating high-quality educational content. With millions of channels on YouTube, we’re honored to be among the first to offer this enhanced accessibility.

A Closing Thought

This isn’t just a technical update—it’s a mission booster. We’ve always believed that science should be accessible, and now, more than ever, Dr. Bikman’s insights can serve a truly global audience.

If you know someone who would benefit from this new capability, especially if English isn't their first language, feel free to share this exciting update with them.
